Different Types Of Skin Treatments
There are many different treatment methods that can be performed. The common types of treatments include: laser resurfacing, chemical peels, laser skin resurfacing, and skin tightening. Other treatments such as body contouring and cryotherapy can also help rejuvenate the skin.
For most people, skin care treatments are not a necessity. They are something that people spend money on to make their skin appear more youthful. But for some people, skin care treatments are necessary to keep their skin healthy. We all have different skin types with different problems, so it is important to note that not one treatment is perfect for every person.
1. Treatments for sensitivity issues: Skin sensitivity is extremely common, no matter the skin type. It can cause itchiness, redness, and dry patches. Some people have issues with topical treatments like: cleansers, moisturizers and lotions. The people who suffer from skin sensitivity issues often find that they get relief after their doctor has prescribed a topical steroidal cream.
2. Treatments for dryness: The most common cause of dry skin is using cheap and cheap made products like soap and detergent, which strip away the oil from your skin. Often times when you have dry skin, it can lead to being overly sensitive. Another cause for dry skin is excessive washing. When you do use a shower cleanser, it is important to make sure they are for sensitive skin. Hot water also strips away more oil than warm water. Cold water can lead to skin breakouts! Here are some recommended shower cleansers: CeraVe Foaming Cleanser, Dermamedi Dermatologist Advanced Body Wash Shampoo, Softsoap Fruitilicious Pear Punch Exfoliating Body Wash.
3. Treatments for oily skin: The treatments for an oily face and acne do not need to be expensive and many even use over the counter products. The cause of oily skin can be hormonal so many times the root cause is a reproductive issue so see your doctor if it persists. Stop using harsh products on your face! An extreme diet will clear your skin rather quickly, but only do this under the guidance of a medical professional.
4. Treatments for wrinkles: A big part of isolating or getting rid of my wrinkles was donating or throwing away the products they were in. I also discontinued (with the advice of my esthetician) using harsh scrubs in the shower which in turn reduced my fine lines in the eye area. Use a few different products on your face and rotate them regularly! The benefit of having different products will help the skin take better to the products staying cleaner
5. Treatments for acne: As usual, keep everything away from your face and stay on a daily routine! Make sure to cleanse and moisturize morning and night. Also, coconut oil and jojoba oil seem to help keep acne away. When your skin decides to “have a tantrum” throw some tea tree oil on it and leave on overnight. Overnight masks: A couple nights a week, right before bed I apply some sort of cleanse and exfoliate. Then I follow with moisturizer.
Different types of treatments for different skin troubles – without a doubt, one of the most important steps in caring for your skin is figuring out what it needs. This article will take a look at some specific examples and show you how to match the type of treatment to your skin problem.
Sensitive skin is just as common as dry skin and we all know that it’s caused by environmental factors and stress. That’s why sensitive skin also needs a tailored skin care routine. For example, there are soothing masks that use the power of natural ingredients like aloe vera, green tea, and cucumber to soothe your irritated skin with a gentle touch.
